About

Quilt Trails are located in all 50 states with over 8000 Barn Quilts hanging as public art. Originally they were hung on barns but now they hang everywhere.

Discover

Follow our map and participate in a scavenger hunt from inside your car or take a walking tour.

Experience

Come to one of our DIY painting parties and paint your own Barn Quilt to hang on your home or business.

Not all those who wander are lost.

J. R. R. TOLKIEN

Barn Quilt Trails have become the largest grassroots public arts movement in our nation’s history. The first Quilt Trail Block was painted in 2001 in Adams County, Ohio. The first Barn Quilt in Florida was painted in 2013 in Trenton.

The size of each blocks/squares varies from a 2′ X 2′ to 4’x4’ to 8’x8’ and some even larger. Our Quilt Trail will link with the Florida Quilt Trail and other national Barn Quilt Trails.

About Us

We are traditional quilters painting quilt squares to honor our quilting heritage and create public art.
